About this tool
The Contact Info Simplifier reads a messy block of text – an email signature, a scanned business card, a pasted “About” section – and pulls out the name, title, company, phone number, email, website, and address into a clean, labeled card. From there you can download it as a standard vCard (.vcf) file that any contacts app can import, or copy it as plain text.
How to use it
- Paste the messy contact text into the box.
- Click Extract contact info.
- Review the extracted fields – anything not found is marked clearly.
- Download as a vCard to import into your phone or email contacts, or copy as plain text.
Pro tips
- Works best when each piece of information (name, title, company, phone, email) is on its own line, as most email signatures already are.

Does this upload my contact data anywhere?
No. All extraction happens client-side in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server or stored.
What if it gets a field wrong?
The extraction uses pattern matching (regular expressions), so unusual formatting can occasionally be misread. Always double-check the extracted fields before saving or sharing the contact.
